Many times we don’t realize
why certain things happen in our lives. Some of our greatest desires
require the most patience and work to accomplish. They usually become tattered
and bruised before being perfected and polished, but it takes a hard fight for
us to truly realize what our real desires are and what are not. What’s worth
fighting for and what is not.

Never does anything of great worth come without a
price. Sometimes it’s not the trials that make it so hard to receive it, but
our own carnal minds unwilling to give up or do what is or isn't necessary in
order to receive what we desire. Maybe we become who the lord wants us to be by
learning to overcome whatever it takes to achieve our desire. Would we really make the changes or even
desire anything if it was never hard to achieve?
C.S. Lewis once said, "We shall then first be true persons when we have suffered ourselves to be fitted into our places. We are marble waiting to be shaped, metal waiting to be run into a mould."
Many times we want instant
gratifications and results or so we think we do. Every instant gratification
last as long as the effort put into it. Many times it comes in the form of
lust. The natural man thinks with present moments and shuts off our mind to the future costs.
I compare patience to the most precious thing that the earth produces, to a jewel. Pressed by sand and rocks, it reposes in the dark lap of earth. Though no ray of light comes near it, it becomes radiant with imperishable beauty. -Friedrich Adolf Krummacher-

Why
lust? I had to think about that. I asked, why does the world look for instant gratification. Why want lust when love is so much
stronger and felt so much better.
My Conclusion; lust is the pathway through
hell making you think that it makes you happy as if feeling love, though it is
actually a terrible kind of pain making you rationalize justice you feel you
deserve, that if you give this you get this back, if you love someone you
should be able to have sex to show them that even if it may be temporary, if I’m having a bad
day I should be able to take the drugs to make me feel better, and so
forth. Truly though, it never seems to
solve anything.
In fact the highest counts of divorce come from those who did NOT wait and treated their relationships like they were married. Drugs,
alcohol, pornography are becoming key points to ruining relationships and
highest causes of depression. Lust is just a game, causing confusion and
insecurity, which then causes us to lose who we are to satisfy our impatient
wants instead of looking for our long term needs.

"Love as distinct from "being in love" is not merely a feeling. It is a deep unity, maintained by the will and deliberately strengthened by habit; reinforced by the grace which both partners ask, and receive, from God. They can have this love for each other even at those moments when they do not like each other; as you love yourself even when you do not like yourself. they can retain this love even when each would easily, if they allowed themselves, be "in love" with someone else. "Being in love" first moved them to promise fidelity: this quieter love enables them to keep the promise. it is on this love that the engine of marriage is run: being in love was the explosion that started it. -C.S. Lewis-
Love though; shows you
truth in every way, no trick, and no games; bringing you to the gates of
heaven; it shows you what you really can have, who you can really be if you
just keep patient and don’t let it go. It’s the one instance giving you
happiness and assurance that someone truly cares about you just as much as you
care for them.
Its the only time when Binding you two together forever is unconditional, making every day optimistic.
