The MASTER!

All in the world runs down to what do we love most and what will we do for it. Universally we all seek to be loved. We all naturally have the tendency to see only ourselves and our wants and needs, yet our lives aren't mastered until we figure out how to lose the “I” and look for “you”, for it’s when we forget ourselves that our true selves will be discovered. We all can look at Christ and see a perfect example.

A Price given by his loyal Apostle was on his head, Physical violence confronted him ALWAYS. People were enjoying revealing his whereabouts so he could be put to death, the scepter of death proceeded with him, sat with him, walked with him. How difficult it must have been for he who could wither a fig tree with one single command. To restrain himself from cursing his enemies.

Rather bowed himself to His Father above and prayed for them, suffered for them, even without them accepting his suffering he pressed on. He suffered a pain so IMMENSE to the human body that each pour began to bleed. Which scientifically is considered impossible to endure, yet He did. Crying a cry, “Abba, or father or maybe in the lips of a child, Daddy. If it be possible let this cup pass” but in perfect diligence and humility submits his will with “Not my will but thine be done” (Matt 26:39).

To retaliate and fight back is human, but to accept indignities as did the Lord is DIVINE.

He was tested continually as Judas Iscariot the known Traitor then appeared and kissed our Lord on the cheek, still he did NOT resist. Then Captured by a vicious mob, yet did not permit his loyal apostles to defend him, though those worthy men were willing to die fighting for him, yet He disarmed his courageous apostles at his side.
With 12 legions’ of angels at his command (Matt 26:53), he yielded himself. He was mocked; his testimony remained, He was spat upon; he stood resolute.
A MAN to redeem mankind stood dignified in remorse only to hear “Crucify him” echo from his brothers and sisters. They beat him; yet his love increased. They nailed him to a Cross yet he didn't refuse. A Cry of Agony, “Eloi Eloi Lama Sabacthani or My God My God why has thou forsaken me” (Mark 15:34) as the spirit withdrew.
He stood ALONE, no one there to aide him in the bitterest hour physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Yet he asked our Father to forgive their ignorant trespasses. What MASTERY. What CONTROL.
That’s loves one true desire.
